Modrić reveals why he chose AC Milan

39-year-old Croatian maestro Luka Modrić has explained why he decided to continue his career with Milan.

"I wanted to stay in Europe and play a few more seasons at a high level. I had other offers as well, but when Milan’s offer came, everything became clear — this was the opportunity I had been waiting for. They came to Croatia and presented their projects and plans to me. That level of attention truly impressed me. Joining a club like Milan is an honor for any footballer. Their historic path and position in European football made my decision easier," Modrić said in an interview with the club's press service.
