Polish national team player and “Barcelona” star Robert Lewandowski shared his opinion that comparing "Real Madrid"’s new transfer Franco Mastantuono with Lamin Yamal is incorrect. According to him, comparing players at this age is absolutely wrong, and such actions only lead to excessive expectations from fans.
“Of course, fans want a player similar to Lamin to join Real, but such players are not born every year. Previously, during the times of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, similar discussions occurred, but they were completely different-level, unique stars. You will never find a new Messi or Ronaldo because their abilities and skills are unrepeatable,” Lewandowski said in his reflections.
For reference, “Real Madrid” purchased 18-year-old Franco Mastantuono from Argentina’s “River Plate” for 63 million euros. This transfer is considered a major investment by the club for the future and a strong commitment to developing young, talented players.
