After the match, Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick shared his impressions of the game in a conversation with journalists.
“Our performance at the moment was not perfect, but we must admit — Levante played very strongly and with great discipline. The victory did not come easily, because the opponent defended very deep, which made the game even more difficult. Nevertheless, we kept attacking, continued to look for opportunities, and finally managed to win. Such difficult matches are very useful for the team’s growth and gaining experience,” said the German coach.
Flick also specifically addressed the tactical change made in the second half:
“After the break, we needed new strength and fresh energy. That’s why we decided to bring Raphinha on. This decision fully justified itself — he gave the team new energy and completely changed the course of the game.”
