One of the important events of the chess world — “Rubinstein Memorial 2025” — was held in Poland. Ten major grandmasters took part in this competition, which was played in the classical format.
Representing the honor of Uzbekistan, Nodirbek Yakubboev achieved success in the tournament and claimed the championship title. He played 9 games and scored a total of 6.5 points. Our compatriot won 4 games, while the remaining 5 ended in a draw.
During the tournament, Yakubboev added 16.1 FIDE rating points to his personal score. Thus, his total reached 2681.2 points, and he rose to 45th place in the online ranking table.
