Madrid giants Real claimed a confident 3-0 victory over Oviedo in the second round of La Liga. After the match, the team’s head coach Xabi Alonso shared his thoughts on the performance of French star forward Kylian Mbappe. Remarkably, Mbappe has already scored three goals in the first two games of the new season.
According to Alonso, the striker has worked hard on himself in recent months:
— He regained the four kilograms of weight lost during the Club World Cup. I cannot say much about last season because I was not here then. But now I see he is highly motivated and is transmitting that spirit to the team. I am impressed with how he makes those quick turns.
