In Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, the Junior World Judo Championship has begun. On the very first day of the competition, Team Uzbekistan achieved a remarkable result by winning 3 gold medals. Such a successful start has never before been recorded in the history of our team.
One of the brightest highlights was Dilafruz Boltabayeva, who entered history after a 10-year break. She became the second Uzbek female judoka to win a world championship title in this age category, following Diyora Keldiyorova. This achievement is not only a personal success but also an important milestone in the history of national sports.
