The management of “Newcastle United” had hoped that Swedish striker Alexander Isak would return to training with the team. However, the player did not change his mind, and as a result, the club was forced to consider selling him.
With only a few days left before the summer transfer window closes, the “Magpies” set clear conditions for Isak’s departure. According to The Chronicle, the club will only let the forward go if two requirements are met.
The first condition is that “Newcastle” must sign a new central striker. Head coach Eddie Howe does not want to be left without options in attack. Currently, the club’s sporting department is considering Jorgen Larsen from “Wolverhampton”, Nicolas Jackson from “Chelsea”, and Yoane Wissa from “Brentford” as possible replacements.
The second condition is financial: any club that wants to buy Alexander Isak must pay around £150 million in transfer fees.
Experts point out that Isak’s transfer could become one of the biggest moves of the season in the English Premier League. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see what decision “Newcastle” will make in the coming days.
