Press secretaries of "Pakhtakor" and "Mash'al" on the verge of punishment

Another sensational event was recorded in Uzbek football. The actions of the press services of "Mash'al" and "Pakhtakor" clubs have been submitted for discussion to the Disciplinary Committee under the Football Association of Uzbekistan. This was officially announced by the UzPFL press service.

This situation occurred after two matches in the 21st round of the Uzbekistan Super League. In particular, during the "Mash'al" - "Shurtan" and "Pakhtakor" - "Neftchi" matches, the press secretaries of the host teams openly objected to the refereeing through their clubs' official Telegram channels.

However, according to the rules, in such cases, club officials had to file an official complaint after the match ended. In practice, this process has not been carried out. As the league recalled, the competition regulations define a clear procedure for expressing dissatisfaction with the refereeing.

At the same time, the media directive approved by the League clearly outlines the responsibilities of press secretaries. Specifically, under clause 2.2, the press secretary bears personal responsibility for any official information and announcements made on behalf of the club.

For this reason, the case of "Mash'al" and "Pakhtakor" clubs has now been sent to the Disciplinary Committee for consideration. Disciplinary action may be taken against both clubs after the committee's decision.

The Uzbekistan Professional Football League (UzPFL), in turn, called on clubs to strictly adhere to the rules established in competitions held under the auspices of the League. It was noted that this is important not only for the prestige of the organization, but also for ensuring fairness and professionalism in the field of football.
