Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick spoke about the health of winger Lamin Yamal. The day before, the club announced that the player's back problems had recurred, and he was sidelined for at least two to three weeks.
Flick stated that this isn't a simple injury, and his return to the field is still uncertain.
"We don't know exactly when it will be fully ready. This is not a muscle or a minor injury. Whether it will be restored in two, three, or four weeks is still unknown. I can't even say with certainty that he will recover before El Clasico. Now he is working with rehabilitation specialists, then we will see," the coach said in an interview with journalists.
For information, Lamin Yamal missed four Barcelona matches due to injury in September and later appeared in matches against Real Sociedad and PSG.
