CIS Games. Uzbekistan won silver in the mixed team competition

The judo competitions within the framework of the III CIS Games, held in the Azerbaijani city of Goygul, have concluded. In today's program, mixed team competitions were held between the national teams, and our like-minded people presented them with stellar moments.
On the way to the final, the Uzbekistan national team defeated such strong opponents as Belarus and Russia and advanced to the decisive match. In the end, our judokas won an honorable silver medal, adding another valuable prize to our overall medal collection.
It should be recalled that during the days of individual competitions, our judokas showed a stable result, winning 2 gold, 2 silver, and 8 bronze medals - a total of 12 medals, and in the overall team standings, they were among the top three. This indicator once again confirmed that our national judo has a rich reserve and high competitiveness.
Success in a mixed team format is the result of teamwork, mutual trust, and discipline. Our judokas demonstrated character, resilience, and tactical thoroughness in every match until the final. The headquarters of the national team and the coaching staff also made the right decisions during the competition and correctly distributed the strength of our young men and women.
According to the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, the team will complete a short recovery cycle in the coming days and continue preparations for the next international starts. Importantly, these measured steps are creating a solid foundation for the roadmap until 2026.
Congratulations to our judokas who successfully completed the competition! We expect even more brilliant victories at the new starts.
