Lightweight official UFC champion Ilia Topuria has announced his upcoming return to the octagon. According to him, preparations for extending the chain of victories and reaching new heights are in full swing.
The champion sent a short but firm signal to his fans on social media: "The King is returning. Let no one feel safe. Stand in line - the march continues," the fighter wrote, pointing to each challenger in the opponents' ranks.
As a reminder, Topuria's last match was on June 29, 2025. That night, he faced 35-year-old former King Charles Oliveira for the vacant lightweight championship belt, ending the crossing in a convincing knockout in the first round. After this victory, Ilya put the title on his belt and spoke his word as the leader of the division.
Official information regarding the date and opponent has not yet been released, but judging by the champion's tone, the date for his return to the octagon is approaching.
