The traditional Spanish championship match will again be between Real Madrid and Barcelona. The first El Clásico, coinciding with the 10th round of La Liga, will take place on October 26th at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid.
Madrid forward Rodrigo Goes spoke to journalists about the team's reaction to the upcoming match against the main rival. He emphasized that there's no need to think about last season's losses - this time we need to start over.
"We need to put the past season back. We also couldn't find our game at that time, especially in four El Clasicos. Honestly, playing against Barcelona was tough for us. They are now in very good form and have become a team that believes in its own strength," said Rodrigo.
At the same time, he emphasized that Real Madrid also has sufficient potential for victory:
"We are also a great team. This time, the El Clásico will be very intense. But at the Bernabéu, we will play in front of our own fans, and by winning, we must show what we are capable of. Despite everything, we must seriously prepare for this meeting."
According to Rodrigo, for Real Madrid, this match is not only an important stage in the championship race but also an opportunity to take revenge for losses from last season.
Madrid fans, however, expect only a victory from their team - the El Clásico at the Bernabéu will always be a historic night.
