Brazilian club “Santos” forward Neymar is preparing for a comeback to Europe. According to ESPN, citing Fabrizio Romano, top Serie A clubs “Inter” and “Napoli” have shown serious interest in signing him.
Sources report that the 33-year-old player’s current contract with “Santos” expires on December 31 of this year. Therefore, Neymar is considering continuing his career in Europe after the winter transfer window.
It is reported that the experienced striker aims to attract the attention of Brazil’s national team coach Carlo Ancelotti and hopes to return to the national squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
It is also noted that last summer, Neymar received an offer from “AC Milan,” but he preferred to stay in Brazil at that time. Now, he intends to return to Europe and once again demonstrate his full potential in a top-tier league.
Football analysts believe Neymar’s move to Serie A would be a major marketing success for Italian clubs. Moreover, it would give him a chance to play one of the final seasons of his career at a high level.
Thus, while Neymar’s next destination has not yet been officially decided, Italian clubs are reportedly preparing for serious competition to secure his transfer.
