Another change at Nottingham Forest: Postecoglou dismissed

Another managerial change has taken place in the English Premier League. Nottingham Forest has officially announced the termination of cooperation with head coach Angelos Postecoglou. The club made the announcement on its official X (Twitter) page.

The Australian specialist had taken charge of the team only a month ago — in September. However, he was unable to improve the team’s results during that period. Under Postecoglou’s leadership, the “Foresters” played 8 matches in all competitions — losing 6 of them and drawing twice.

The situation in the Premier League table is also difficult. After eight rounds, Nottingham Forest has collected only 5 points and sits in 17th place. The team is just one point above the relegation zone, which has caused serious concern among the management.

In today’s match, the “Foresters” also lost 0–3 away to Chelsea. This result can be considered decisive for Postecoglou’s fate.

According to local media, the club’s management plans to appoint a new coach in the coming days. Among the candidates mentioned are English specialist Graham Potter and Portuguese coach Rúben Amorim.

Historically, Nottingham Forest is a big name in English football, but in recent years the club has been going through a rebuilding stage. Fans hope that the next manager will bring stability and results to the team.
