Real Madrid’s star striker Kylian Mbappe has fully recovered from his ankle injury. This was announced by head coach Xabi Alonso during a press conference, Marca reported.
The captain of the French national team recently missed the World Cup qualifying match against Iceland due to ankle pain. Although he did not play in that match, he has now regained full fitness and rejoined the team.
“Mbappe is ready to play. His ankle is in good condition — we tested everything. He will most likely start the game against Getafe,” Alonso told reporters.
According to Xabi Alonso, Mbappe feels good not only physically but also mentally. “His mood is very positive. He trains with everyone and shows great confidence,” the coach added.
The 26-year-old forward has scored 9 goals in La Liga and 5 in the Champions League this season. He remains one of the most productive and dangerous attackers not only in Real Madrid but in all of European football.
Mbappe’s recovery from injury has delighted fans. Real Madrid felt his absence in attack during recent matches, but now the French star is ready to lead the line again in crucial games.
The Getafe vs. Real Madrid match will take place on October 19. This time, Real will play away from home. The coaching staff plans to use Mbappe carefully, but his inclusion in the starting lineup is highly expected.
The Madrid club continues the season among the top teams of La Liga. With Mbappe’s return, Real’s attacking potential becomes even greater, making them a more formidable opponent.
Experts believe that if Mbappe maintains his form, he will compete for the title of Player of the Year both in the Spanish league and on the European stage.
