Atletico Madrid's head coach, Diego Simeone, expressed his opinion after a heavy 4-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Champions League. Atletico's players conceded four goals from the 57th to the 70th minute and were unable to respond.
Simeone emphasized his team's good performance at the start of the match. According to him, Arsenal gained an advantage from the 60th minute and took full advantage. The coach called Arsenal the strongest opponent they've faced this season.
In his opinion, the London club demonstrated superiority in every aspect of the field and deserved the victory. Simeone told his team to forget the defeat and move forward.
He added that Atletico still needs to continue working on themselves. Atletico Madrid currently have three points after three rounds of the Champions League group stage.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have won all their matches and are leading with nine points.
