Manchester United plans to purchase Mateta for £40 million
Manchester United is looking for new players to strengthen its squad. According to Euro-football.ru, the club has shown interest in Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.

The 28-year-old Mateta is also of interest to two other English Premier League clubs — Tottenham and Newcastle. Currently, Mateta's contract with Crystal Palace runs until the summer of 2027.

The footballer has refused to extend the contract because he wants to move his career to a new stage. Experts estimate that Mateta's transfer fee may be around £40 million (€46 million).

In October, Mateta made his debut for the French national team.
