Inter Miami's Lionel Messi has won the Golden Boot award for scoring the most goals in the US MLS championship. The Argentinian star received the award ahead of the match against Nashville in the 1/8 finals of the playoffs.

The 38-year-old striker made 28 appearances and scored 29 goals during the season. His closest rivals, Los Angeles player Danny Boehanga and Nashville forward Sam Sarridge, are behind with 24 goals each.
Messi has been playing for Inter Miami since the summer of 2023. During this time, he represented the team 82 times, scoring 71 goals and providing 37 assists.
According to Transfermarkt, the legend's market value is currently €18 million.
