The 2025 season of the Kazakhstan Premier League has concluded. In the final, central match of the 26th round, Almaty's "Kairat" faced their main rival, "Astana," and drew 1:1.
In the match, both teams competed for the championship. In the first half, Kairat took the initiative, but the opponent's defense played reliably. In the second half, "Astana" created dangerous situations with quick counterattacks, however, the Almaty team did not lose the rhythm of the game and maintained the desired result.
As a result, "Kairat" scored 59 points in 26 matches and took the final first place in the tournament table. "Astana" remains in second place with 57 points. With this result, the Almaty club became the national champion for the second time in a row.
At the same time, "Kairat" became the champion of Kazakhstan for the fifth time overall. This achievement is considered the result of the club's consistent development in recent years.
Throughout the season, the team demonstrated consistent play not only in attack but also in defense. The team captain and head coach believe that every player, assistant coaches, and fans contribute to this championship.
According to Kazakhstani media, the main advantage of "Kairat" this season was teamwork and systematic work aimed at a priority goal. This victory also secured the Almaty team the right to participate in European competitions.
