Bayern Munich has begun negotiations with Mark Gehry

Crystal Palace central defender Mark Gehry remains one of Bayern's transfer goals. The English footballer has decided not to extend his current contract with the Eagles, so he could change clubs as a free agent next summer.

A similar situation could arise with Diego Upamecano, whose contract with Bayern Munich expires in June 2026. According to journalist Christian Falk, the Munich club has already begun negotiations with Gexi's representatives.

Gexi is considered a key candidate to replace Upamecano at Bayern Munich. Liverpool, Real Madrid, and other major European clubs are also expected to compete for the captain of Crystal Palace.
