Munich's Bayern football club is preparing to sign a new contract with young defender Lennart Karl. After the player turns 18 in February 2026, his current contract will be upgraded to a professional level and will last until 2029.
Sky Germany reports this. Currently, Karl's contract is valid until 2028, but the new agreement will offer him an improved salary and other conditions.
It is also noted that there is no release clause in the player's contract. Lennart Karl recently demonstrated his high level in a Bundesliga match against Borussia Mönchengladbach (3:0) and in the Champions League game against Brugge (4:0), scoring his first goals in these competitions.
