Lazio player Pedro Rodriguez has announced his decision to leave the club. The Spanish footballer will finish the current season with the Rome club and then depart from the team.
He made this announcement on Thursday after the match against Pisa. This game ended in a 0:0 draw.
"I want Lazio to qualify for European competitions, and then it will be time to leave," said the 38-year-old winger in an interview with Fabrizio Romano. Pedro has been playing for the "Eagles" since 2021.
Before that, he played for Roma, Chelsea, and Barcelona. The footballer, who is a product of the Catalonia club's academy, will turn 39 years old in July of this year.
For now, it is unknown whether he will continue his career or retire after the end of the season.
