Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner shared his thoughts about his team’s upcoming congested fixture schedule, Sky Sports reports. Between December 11 and December 18, the team will have to play 4 matches.
On December 11, there will be a European competition match against Shelburn, on December 14 a Premier League game against Manchester City, on December 16 a Carabao Cup quarter-final match against Arsenal, and finally, on December 18 a Conference League match against KuPS. Glasner emphasized that he was astonished when he heard about this schedule.
“When I heard about such a possibility, I couldn’t believe my ears. We are responsible for the players’ health, and this doesn’t only concern Palace.
I spoke about this three months ago. It would have been better if the schedule makers had discussed this together in the summer,” said Glasner.
Currently, Crystal Palace is in 10th place in the Premier League standings with 13 points. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
