The FIFA U-17 World Cup, which kicked off in Qatar, is attracting the attention of football fans. Now, Uzbek fans have the opportunity to watch this prestigious competition live in our country.
This year's World Cup can be watched in Uzbekistan on three TV channels: "Sport TV," "Zo'r TV," and "Futbol TV." This news generated great interest among football fans, as the Youth World Cup is always recognized as a competition that discovers new talents.
The World Cup will continue from November 3rd to 27th. The Uzbekistan U-17 national team is participating in this tournament. The matches taking place in Qatar, which has a warm climate and modern infrastructure, are important for young football players of our country to gain international experience and demonstrate their potential.
Our youth team, managed by Islombek Ismoilov, will compete in Group "J." They faced Paraguay, Ireland, and Panama as opponents.
Strong competition is expected in the group. Paraguay has traditionally been known as a technically well-developed team, Ireland stands out for its physical fitness, while Panama is considered dangerous with quick attacks.
The Uzbekistan national team has set itself the goal of reaching at least the playoff stage. During the preparation process, the team held a number of friendly matches and successfully adapted to local climatic conditions.
