A unique situation in the League from Luis Dias
Luis Diaz delivered an outstanding performance in the Champions League away match against PSG. The Bayern winger recorded a brace in the first half.
However, later Diaz inflicted a serious injury on Achraf Hakimi and received a red card after VAR intervention. According to Opta, Diaz is the second player in Champions League history to score a brace and receive a red card in the same match.
Until then, only Atletico striker Antoine Griezmann had experienced such a situation. In October 2021, the French footballer scored twice against Liverpool and was subsequently sent off.
In that match, Atletico lost 2-3 on their home ground. You can follow the PSG vs Bayern game via live text broadcast on the LiveResult portal.
