Giorgio Chiellini, a former footballer currently working in the management of Juventus, recently shared his opinion about the working style of the newly appointed head coach Luciano Spalletti. The Italian coach replaced Igor Tudor.
Tudor was dismissed at the end of October. In the first match under Spalletti's management, the “Old Lady” defeated Cremonese 2-1.
“Spalletti is trying to bring his experience, feel for the game, and tactical approach to the team, but he doesn’t want to make very drastic changes. He tried to understand what the team was doing before his arrival and, adapting to that, added his own elements.
In the first training sessions, he tried to convey his ideas to the players,” Chiellini said in an interview with Sky Sport. Luciano Spalletti’s contract with Juventus is set until the end of the season, but if the team qualifies for the Champions League, the contract may be extended by one year.
