The preparation for the friendly match between the Russian national team and the US team has been halted. The reason was the lack of suitable times to hold the match.
This was reported by the Secretary General of the Russian Football Union, Maksim Mitrofanov. According to Mitrofanov, in particular, the US team has a very tight schedule for friendly matches.
When negotiations began, it turned out that there was no available time for the Americans. Earlier, it had been reported that the foreign ministers of both countries would also participate in the preparation process for this match.
The Russian national team's next friendly matches will be against Peru and Chile. These matches will be organized in Russia.
