For the visitors, Mboup gained possession in the penalty area and fell, but the referee judged it as simulation. In the second half, Gomes tried a precise header, but the ball did not reach the goal.
On "Brest's" side, Jorès Chotard missed a similar opportunity. Near the end of the match, Aubameyang capitalized on his chance and scored the third goal – 3:0.
This victory put "Marseille" on top of Ligue 1, while "PSG" dropped to second place. "Brest" remained in 13th place.
