
Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola shared his impressions after his 1000th game in his coaching career. This milestone match was against Liverpool, in which the "Citizens" won 3-0.
"I just want to thank the players and the entire team staff for such a gift. I am proud of the work we are doing at Manchester City.
I think the main foundations on this path were laid during my early days managing Barcelona's second team. During those times, I understood and learned a lot.
It is particularly special to have my 1000th game witnessed by my family members. Especially against Liverpool.
I have great respect for them. Over the last ten years, this team has been our strongest rival," said Guardiola.
