
The FIFA U-17 World Cup, taking place in Qatar, is in full swing. Currently, the Uzbekistan youth national team, led by Islombek Ismailov, after the 2nd round of matches, is in second place in Group "J" and is seriously fighting for a place in the playoffs, the Football Association of Uzbekistan (UFA) reported.
During the tournament, the First Vice-President of the UFA, Ravshan Irmatov, met with the team members. During this dialogue, the players' physical condition, mental preparedness, participation in the tournament, and the conditions created for them were discussed in detail.
At the beginning of his speech, Irmatov expressed confidence in the team members and noted that they are worthily defending the honor of the country:
"You are the hope and pride of millions of football fans. Everyone in Uzbekistan believes in you. Show the same dedication in this competition as you showed in the Asian Cup," he said.
During the meeting, the team's overall preparation process was also discussed. Islombek Ismailov stated that all the players in the team are in high spirits and feel the atmosphere of the competition. He emphasized that the players are doing everything possible not only for the result, but also for the honor of the country.
The coaching staff analyzed the team's performances in the last two matches and reviewed the preparation plan for the upcoming matches. Irmatov emphasized the importance of maintaining a professional approach, discipline, and team spirit.
Members of the medical staff also participated in the meeting and provided information about the players' health and recovery process. In this regard, Ravshan Irmatov recommended paying serious attention to the players' vitamin balance, rest, and recovery processes. He emphasized that all conditions should be created for the players to play with maximum potential.
During the competition, UFA officials maintain constant contact with team members and provide them with support. Irmatov emphasized that each game of the team at this stage will influence the future of the country's football and will be a great school of experience for the youth.
At the end of the match, Ravshan Irmatov wished the team members good luck and encouraged them to win:
"Today you are demonstrating not only yourselves, but the whole country. In every game, strive with spirit and pride. I believe that the youth of Uzbekistan will write a new page in football through you," he said.
