Aston Villa and Sunderland interested in Guendouzi

English Premier League clubs "Aston Villa" and "Sunderland" may renew their interest in Italian club Lazio’s midfielder Matteo Guendouzi. This was reported by Football Italia.

According to the source, the player has recently gone from being a key figure in the midfield to a player causing concern for the club’s management. Guendouzi, who had a strong start to the season, has been unable to regain his top form following a suspension.

As reported by Il Messaggero, Guendouzi has been successful in only half of his ground duels and just a third of his aerial duels. Lazio’s head coach Maurizio Sarri continues to expect better performances from the midfielder, but Guendouzi is no longer seen as an "untouchable" player.
