Parma's goalkeeper Zion Suzuki has undergone surgery. As previously reported, the player sustained an injury requiring surgery.
The operation was carried out in Tokyo by Japanese doctors, with Parma’s official club doctor, Giulio Pasta, also present during the procedure. The surgery was performed on Suzuki’s finger, which is a critical part for a goalkeeper.
He will be unable to play football for three to four months and is expected to return to the field only in early spring of 2026. It should be noted that Suzuki has been playing for the Italian club since 2024.
Currently, Parma is in 17th place in the Serie A standings.
