Koeman reveals problems within the Netherlands national team

Netherlands national team head coach Ronald Koeman gave an interview following the 1-1 draw against Poland. The "Oranje" avoided defeat thanks to Memphis Depay's goal in the 47th minute.

"In certain situations, we need to be more patient and improve our defense. Poland didn't have many opportunities, but they created two clear goal-scoring chances, while we failed to capitalize on such opportunities.

Some players are not fulfilling their responsibilities. The five defenders must not leave two attackers unmarked in dangerous zones.

This is absolutely unacceptable," Koeman said in an interview with *The Touchline*. The Netherlands national team is on the verge of securing a spot at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
