Russia's Best Goalkeeper Announced

Igor Korneyev, who previously worked on the coaching staff of the Russian national football team, has shared his opinion regarding the country's strongest goalkeeper. The head coach of the Russian national team, Valery Karpin, has included Krasnodar goalkeeper Stanislav Agkatsev in the starting lineup for the BetBoom friendly match against Chile.

"Agkatsev is currently the strongest goalkeeper in Russia; this is 100% clear. Safonov is playing less often, and the last goal he conceded has affected his game," Korneyev said in an interview with "Match TV."

The match between Russia and Chile will kick off at 6:00 PM Moscow time. A few days ago, the Russian national team played a 1–1 draw against Peru.
