Lineker Says Rashford's Performance in Barcelona Does Not Surprise Him


Famous former English striker Gary Lineker has evaluated Marcus Rashford's success at Barcelona. The 28-year-old forward, who is on loan from Manchester United, has showcased an impressive performance under Hans-Dieter Flick’s team, scoring six goals and delivering nine assists in 16 matches.

"Rashford's game doesn’t surprise me because I have known him for many years. This lad, when he feels happy, is capable of scoring numerous goals and delivering incredible performances.

At Barcelona, he has no problems; he plays regularly and looks very good," – Lineker’s words are quoted by Barca Universal. It has been reported that the Catalan club has the opportunity to acquire Rashford for approximately 30 million euros.
