Rooney: Grealish Will Not Attend the World Cup

Former England national team striker Wayne Rooney has stated that Jack Grealish is unlikely to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup as part of the England squad. The 30-year-old footballer has been playing on loan at Everton from Manchester City since the start of this season, attempting to reboot his career.

"Grealish can start planning his summer vacation—he won’t make it into Tuchel’s squad. Not even Gordon’s injury will change that," Rooney told British media.

In the current Premier League season, Grealish has scored one goal and provided four assists in 10 matches. The footballer last appeared for the England national team in October of last year.
