The Barcelona football club has announced long-awaited news — the team is returning to the newly modernized Camp Nou stadium. On November 22, the Catalans will hold their first match at their home ground.
In Matchday 13 of La Liga, Barcelona will face Athletic Bilbao. The match is scheduled to kick off at 6:15 PM Moscow time.
Since May 2023, Barcelona has been hosting its home matches at the Olympic Lluís Companys Stadium and the Estadi Johan Cruyff. Now, the club has obtained a 1B level license, and the stadium is ready to accommodate 45,401 spectators.
Additionally, the club is in discussions with UEFA about holding a UEFA Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt at the new stadium.
