The lawyer of Real Madrid footballer Kylian Mbappe, Delphine Verheyden, has once again criticized Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). According to her, the club did not relay a transfer offer from a Saudi Arabian team to the player and exerted pressure on him during negotiations.
Verheyden stated that on June 12, 2023, Mbappe informed the club via email that he intended to continue playing without signing a new contract for more than two years. However, the PSG management did not take this stance seriously, believing the matter would be resolved through a financial agreement.
The lawyer also emphasized that after Mbappe was excluded from the squad on July 21, 2023, the pressure on him intensified. The player was reportedly hinted that he would not play unless he signed a new contract.
Verheyden drew special attention to the offer from the Saudi Arabian club. On July 22, 2023, the club was prepared to pay 300 million euros for Mbappe, with the offer valid until midnight on July 25.
However, according to Verheyden, this offer was not communicated to the player. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
