The Brazilian national team played a 1-1 draw in a friendly match against Tunisia. In the first half, the "Seleção" opened the scoring with a penalty converted by Estevao.
In the second half, Brazil earned another penalty, but this time Lucas Paquetá took the shot and failed to score. Head coach of the Brazilian national team, Carlo Ancelotti, explained the reason for changing the penalty taker.
"Paquetá is our main penalty taker. I changed the executor for the second penalty to avoid putting extra pressure on Estevao.
I assigned Paquetá because he usually executes penalties very well," Ancelotti told journalists. The Brazilian national team will participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup this summer.
