Aleksandr Bubnov Says Russian National Team Is Unnecessary

Former defender of Moscow's "Spartak" club, Aleksandr Bubnov, shared his opinions regarding the Russian national football team. It is known that the Russian team has been excluded from international matches since February 2022.

"At present, no one needs the national team. It is only necessary for official games.

Why do we need Karpin there? We already have 'Podshoh,' Tashuyev, and Pyatibratov.

I can list those who are willing to work there for free," said Bubnov during his appearance on the "Komment.Show" YouTube channel. The Russian national football team last played a friendly match against Chile's national team in Sochi.
