Juventus Defender Ruled Out


Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, aged 31, has suffered an injury and is expected to be sidelined for at least several weeks, according to reports by Gazzetta dello Sport.

The experienced player has been diagnosed with a calf muscle injury in his right leg, sustained during a training session.

In the current Serie A season, Rugani has appeared in five matches but has not contributed a goal or an assist. After 11 rounds of the Serie A competition, Juventus has accumulated 19 points and is currently ranked sixth in the standings.

The Turin-based side trails league leaders Inter by five points.
