Flick Questions if Pedri Is Ready for Chelsea Match

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick provided an update on midfielder Pedri's health condition. The football player had been diagnosed with a muscle injury at the end of October.

Earlier reports suggested that Pedri might recover in time for the Champions League match against Chelsea. Flick was asked if the 22-year-old would be available to play against the English side.

"I can’t say anything definitive. We are progressing step by step, and it’s important not to put additional pressure on him; otherwise, the results could worsen.

The recovery process is going well, and he will return to the squad soon. Whether he will play in the game against Chelsea or the subsequent match remains uncertain, but everything is proceeding according to plan," Flick stated during a press conference.
