Manchester United Makes Decision on Casemiro Contract

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro’s current contract is set to expire next summer. The contract includes a clause allowing it to be automatically extended by one year; however, journalist Samuel Luckhurst reports that the club's management has decided not to activate this extension clause.

The club is unwilling to continue paying the 33-year-old player a salary exceeding €340,000 per week. Casemiro currently ranks among the top three highest-paid players at Manchester United.

Negotiations could take place to continue the agreement under different terms, but various rumors suggest that the Brazilian player's stay in England is unlikely. This season, Casemiro has scored three goals and provided one assist in ten matches.
