Valencia wins derby to move away from relegation zone

In the 13th round of La Liga, the derby match between Valencia and Levante took place. Both teams, following a series of consecutive setbacks, had edged closer to the danger zone and were fighting for survival.

As usual, the match was highly competitive and intense, but Valencia's dominance was noticeable. The "Bats" began creating dangerous chances after the halftime break.

In the 52nd minute, Andre Almeida struck the ball off the goalpost. Shortly after, Diego Lopes managed to score, but VAR, after an extended review, determined that there was an offside.

Finally, in the 79th minute, Hugo Duro scored a beautiful diving goal, bringing the score to 1–0. This goal was not only crucial but also remarkable in terms of aesthetics.

This victory allowed Valencia to claim 13th place on the table with 13 points. On the other hand, Levante, with 9 points, remained stuck at the bottom of the standings.
