Barcelona Defender Recovers from Serious Injury

Barcelona's left-back Alejandro Balde left the field after the first half during the match against Athletic Bilbao. The 22-year-old Spanish footballer was replaced in the second half by Ronald Araujo.

The match ended in a 4–0 victory for the Catalans. According to journalist Xavi Miguel, Balde's substitution was a precautionary measure.

The player avoided a serious injury and is likely to feature in the upcoming Champions League match against Chelsea in London on Tuesday. Alejandro Balde has made two assists in 12 appearances across all competitions under the management of Hans-Dieter Flick this season.
