Aubameyang's Brace Secures Victory for Marseille

'Marseille' and 'Newcastle' faced off in the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage. The match took place at the 'Velodrome' stadium in France.

The visitors took the lead early in the match as Harvey Barnes scored in the 6th minute, giving 'Newcastle' a quick advantage. However, after halftime, 'Marseille' coach Roberto De Zerbi managed to motivate his players.

At the start of the second half, in the 46th and 50th minutes, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's two goals turned the game in 'Marseille’s' favor. Failing to capitalize on their opportunities, 'Newcastle' let victory slip away, with the French club securing a 2-1 victory.

Following this win, 'Marseille' reached 6 points, while 'Newcastle' remained at 9 points.
