Liam Delap Scores First Champions League Goal


Chelsea forward Liam Delap celebrated his first Champions League goal. The 22-year-old player scored during a home match against Barcelona in the 73rd minute, extending his team's lead to 3-0.

The English footballer's debut goal in Europe's most prestigious football tournament came in his third game of the competition. His first appearance in the Champions League was with Manchester City at the beginning of 2022.

Liam Delap was transferred from Ipswich to Chelsea in June this year for a fee of €35.5 million. So far, he has scored two goals in 14 matches under coach Enzo Maresca.
