London's Chelsea football club has reestablished contact with representatives of AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan. This was reported by journalist Sasha Tavoleri.
According to reports, the Blues are aiming to acquire Maignan on a free transfer. The French goalkeeper, meanwhile, does not intend to extend his contract with Milan.
It has been noted that if Chelsea signs a deal with a new goalkeeper, they might aim to part ways with Filip Jorgensen. This season, the 30-year-old Maignan has appeared in 13 matches across all competitions, conceding 9 goals and keeping 7 clean sheets.
Maignan's current contract with AC Milan is valid until the upcoming summer.
