Klinsmann: Inter Is Staying on Its Path

The famous German coach and former "Inter" player Jürgen Klinsmann believes that the situation of "Nerazzurri" is not as bad as some might think lately. "If we set aside the results, it seems to me that the team is on the right path.

They clearly know how to attack. The match against "Atletico" was not much different from the match against "Milan."

"Inter" almost always plays better than their opponents and creates many opportunities," Klinsmann told La Gazzetta dello Sport in an interview. Klinsmann emphasized that "Inter" head coach Cristian Chivu is working in the right direction.

"He is creating something good. He should not be judged solely based on the number of defeats."

Klinsmann was also asked about Lautaro Martinez's current performance. "I know what it feels like to give your all on the field, yet the ball just doesn’t go into the net.

This was also evident when he was substituted during the derby and the Champions League match. It may seem strange because he is a key player for the team, but it shows Chivu’s courage to make bold decisions."

Currently, "Inter" sits in fourth place in both Serie A and the Champions League, trailing the leaders in both competitions by only three points, despite suffering two consecutive defeats last week.
