Guardiola Provides Update on Rodri's Condition

Josep Guardiola spoke with journalists ahead of Manchester City's home match against Leeds United in the English Premier League. The head coach of Manchester City was asked about the injury status of midfielder Rodrigo Hernandez (Rodri).

The Spanish footballer is reported to have issues in his thigh area. "Rodri is not ready to play yet," Guardiola told the journalists.

At the same time, he emphasized that Rodri's recovery is nearing completion. In the 2025/2026 season, Rodri has only played 415 minutes and participated in a total of eight matches for Manchester City.

Last year, he had become the recipient of the Ballon d’Or award. The English Premier League match between Manchester City and Leeds United is scheduled to start on November 29 at 6:00 PM Moscow time.
